Reviews about Premier Inn Banbury (M40, J11)
- 1 / 5By John DenverWorst hotel stay in my life!! Walked in to reception and nobody stood at the check in desk - was trying to use the check in machines but wasn't working due to issues. Two people walked past and didn't say anything that looked like managers. 10 minutes after I was standing there I was greeted and checked in. I Was not given a receipt and not advised of the good night guarantee or advised that dinner can get busy. I went up to my room and wasn't the most cleanest either! pillowcase had hairs on and the glasses were marked and stained. When I went down for dinner I was advised that it would be a 45 minute wait by a female. However 10 minutes later Jake had advised that he would be able to sit me down earlier than previously advised. Jakes service was spectacular and would like thank him for sitting me down quicker than advised. However the food wasn't spectacular. Jake apologised and advised he would be able to see what he'd be able to do - however I advised not to worry due to not being hungry and having to wait. Later on at the bar - very slow service and waiting again for drinks to be served. several minutes later I hear a laugh coming from the door in the bar and a lady not dress as everybody else which I can only presume was a manager came and said somebody will be with you in a moment for a foreign lad to come out and serve me a pint that had more head than stella!! It if wasn't because I was staying on business then I would of complained but it was absolutely shambles. After drinking that pint I didn't feel like premier inn deserved my money enough to be eating or drinking in the hotel - so I went over to Frankie's and bennies and got some fantastic service - Drinks were served quickly, food was warm and not having to wait stupid times!
I will not be staying at the premier in when i'm using my own expenditure and will be talking to the business in regards to using a different hotel for our clients in the future due to on going issues not just with myself but with several other partners.

- 4 / 5By Kirsty MundayRooms are lovely. Spacious with enough room to work. Clean and bright with black out curtains for good night's sleep. Choice of pillows and a comfy bed.
Rather a long unexplained wait for a table in the restaurant when it seemed there was lots available and no one sat on many on the 30minutes we were asked to wait. We Were in the bar area and as so empty didn't see the need to book and still not sure why we couldn't sit down...
Breakfast was lovely and good choice.October 17, 2016
