  Not a pleasant experience. Bad beer, only offered replacement after someone else complained. One of our party had cling film IN his mac'n' cheese and an obvious over boiled jug of gravey which was served cold. Yes we were given 2 free puddings but they worked out the same price as the free pudding that the member of our party was offered. Most of the staff looked unhappy/miserable. The manager looked even more so. She was stroppy and quite frankly was surprised when her question of 'was everything ok and what else do expect me to do? ' and not getting the answer she wanted. She is not an inspiration to her staff.

  Great lunchtime meal
  No waiting. Very pleasant staff checked if meal was OK..
  Sizzlers are good value and the steaks were fine. Will use my local one in future

  It is I!!!!! Yes, the man who came face to face with the rare but deadly clingfilm mac and cheese and came out the other side to tell you my tale. The event started a long time ago on the eve of 27/05/2017 when my hunger and thirst got the better of me. I had a word with Google maps and the closest pub was ye ol Barley Mow. With a thirst in my throat and a hunger in my belly, I journeyed to what I thought would be satisfaction......but I was wrong. I entered the tavern and quickly saw that Chelsea were being slaughtered by Arsenal with the locals jumping up and down cheering there teams on. 'One pint of Doombar please' I stated, and was quickly satisfied after I relinquished my coin. But that sip, that first sip, it still haunts me to this day. Twas as acidic and bitter as Skyler in Breaking Bad. The pint was disposed of along with my thirst for ale. I was presented a replacement larger though so that would suffice. I ordered my meal and waited for what seemed to be an eternity. I could have watched the Django unchained extended edition on DVD with time to spare before the cheesey trap would be sprung. The table was set and I began to dig in. One mouthful, yum, the second......not so yum. The most un-yum thing I had ever tasted. Cling film in my mouth, the horror! I felt my dignity leave my body as I collapsed in shock. I was pronounced dead on the scene. The end. Ps. Think twice about this pub before dinning there.
